About

Meet Ali Saghaei

My own path to the United States began far from here. I was born in Iran, built my legal career in Germany, and came to the U.S. to practice law across borders. I trained through the full German legal system — earning both State Examinations in Hamburg and working with leading international firms, including Hogan Lovells and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer — and I went through the immigration process myself. So I understand, firsthand, what it takes to leave one country, build a life in another, and find your way through an unfamiliar system.

That experience shapes how I practice. I represent investors, families, and professionals making the kind of cross‑border move I once made myself — with patience, candor, and a genuinely international perspective. I'm admitted in California and Germany, and I work with clients directly in English, German, and Farsi, with a multilingual team that also supports Russian and Ukrainian.

I'll always tell you honestly where you stand — even when it's not what you hoped to hear. That's what counsel is for.
